The 2026 Chevron Houston Marathon returns to downtown Houston on Sunday, January 11, 2026, closing a full race weekend that runs from January 9–11 and once again positioning the event as one of the world’s fastest and most competitive early-season marathons.
The marathon will start on Congress Avenue at Fannin Street, with the elite race and main field going off at 6:55 a.m. local time, following the wheelchair and handcycle start at 6:35 a.m. Runners will finish near Lamar Street and Crawford Street, close to the George R. Brown Convention Center.
