The Int. Raiffeisen Silvesterlauf Peuerbach returns on Wednesday, 31 December 2025, bringing top-class middle- and long-distance talent to the streets of Peuerbach, Upper Austria. One of Europe’s most tradition-rich New Year’s Eve road races, the event once again features stacked elite contests alongside a full programme of youth and mass-participation races.
The elite programme (“Lauf der Asse”) begins with the women’s 5.1 km race at 14:30, followed by the men’s 6.8 km race at 15:00 local time. Both races unfold on Peuerbach’s demanding 850 m city-centre loop, known for its early downhill, rolling backstretch and decisive uphill before the finish—rewarding athletes with strength, rhythm and tactical awareness.
