Madrid will once again bring the athletics world to a festive close as the San Silvestre Vallecana returns on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, for its iconic 10-kilometre road race through the Spanish capital.

One of the most celebrated New Year’s Eve races globally, the Vallecana combines mass participation with elite racing, turning the streets of Madrid into a vibrant stage for runners of all levels. As in recent editions, the event is split into the Vallecana Popular and the elite Vallecana Internacional, with both races already sold out well ahead of race day.
