The 2025 Taipei Marathon will take place on Sunday, 21 December, bringing thousands of runners to the streets of Taiwan’s capital for one of East Asia’s most prestigious road races. Traditionally staged on the third Sunday of December, the event is a major highlight on the regional running calendar and attracts both elite international athletes and a strong domestic field. The marathon is scheduled to start at 6:30 a.m. (local time) in Taipei, Taiwan.
How to Watch - Live Stream
The event will be stream live for free worldwide on the MOMO SPORTS YouTube channel. The live coverage is scheduled to start at approximately 6:00 am local time (GMT +8).
Races will start from Taipei City Hall Plaza, with the full marathon (42.195 km) finishing inside the historic Taipei Municipal Stadium, while the half marathon concludes along Nanjing East Road. The event also features a half marathon wheelchair division, underlining its inclusive character. The marathon is known for its fast, urban course that showcases Taipei’s modern skyline and key districts, including Xinyi and Zhongshan.
