The 2025 ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon will take place on Saturday, December 13, bringing tens of thousands of runners to the UAE capital for one of the region’s premier road races. Now awarded World Athletics Elite Label status, the event continues its rapid rise, combining fast racing, elite competition, and a festival atmosphere.

The event will be streamed live for free worldwide on YouTube, with live coverage starting at 4:30 am local time (GMT +4).
Race morning will begin early, with the elite marathon starting at 5:45 a.m., followed by the mass marathon and relay at 6:00 a.m. The program also includes 10 km, 5 km, and 2.5 km races, along with Paralympics and Special Olympics categories—supporting participation across all ages and abilities. Organizers expect up to 40,000 runners, reaffirming the event’s status as one of the largest in the Middle East.
The elite fields for 2025 feature proven international talent. Katherine Amanang’oli, winner of last year’s race, returns to defend her title in the women’s marathon, joined by fellow contenders Sandra Toy of Kenya and Dolchi Tekleghirgish of Eritrea. On the men’s side, Kenya’s Eric Keptanoy, Turkey’s Kaan Özbilin, and Kenya’s Mike Boit headline a competitive lineup aiming to challenge the course records.
