The road to NXN heats up on Monday, November 24, 2025, when the Nike Cross Regionals (NXR) South returns with a new look and a new venue. This year’s edition moves to the Watts Cross Country Course at the Hildebrand Equine Complex in College Station, Texas, marking a major shift after years at Bear Branch Park in The Woodlands. The venue—well-known for hosting high-profile collegiate meets—offers athletes a fast, championship-tested layout with wide starting areas and smooth, spectator-friendly loops.

The event will be stream live on RunnerSpace+, with live coverage starting at 6:45 a.m. US Central Time on Saturday.
The South Region covers Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and Mississippi, drawing some of the deepest talent pools in U.S. high school cross country. As always, the spotlight falls on the Championship boys’ and girls’ races, where top teams and individuals will earn qualification to Nike Cross Nationals (NXN) under Nike’s selection criteria.
