The 2025 California International Marathon (CIM) returns on Sunday, December 7, bringing thousands of runners to Northern California for one of the fastest and most historic marathons in the United States. The race will again follow its iconic point-to-point, net-downhill route from Folsom Dam to the California State Capitol, a layout renowned for producing personal bests, U.S. Olympic Trials qualifiers, and one of the highest percentages of Boston Marathon qualifying times anywhere in the country. The California International Marathon starts at 7:00 a.m. PST (GMT -8).

Now entering its 42nd edition, CIM will also serve as the host of the 2025 USATF Men’s and Women’s Marathon Championships, guaranteeing a deep and competitive elite field.
