The 2025 Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships will take place on Friday, October 31, at the historic Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, New York. All eight Ivy League programs — Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, and Yale — will battle for conference supremacy on one of collegiate running’s most storied courses.
The championship format remains traditional: the women’s 6K race at 11:00am ET and the men’s 8K race at 12:00pm ET, contested across the rolling trails and iconic back hills of Van Cortlandt. Known for its challenging terrain and deep tactical racing, the course continues to serve as the heart of Ivy League distance running heritage.
With powerhouse programs like Princeton, Harvard, and Columbia expected to contend, and several top individual returners from the 2024 edition back on the line, the 2025 meet promises another intense and prestigious chapter in Ivy League cross country history.
