The 2025 SWAC Cross Country Championships hit the elite turf of Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida, on Monday, October 27, setting the stage for what promises to be a fiercely contested showdown among the conference’s premier distance programs.

Venue and schedule
Known for its wide grass loops, spectator-friendly layout and championship-grade infrastructure, Apalachee Regional Park offers one of the most respected cross-country courses in collegiate athletics. The facility is also slated to host the 2026 World Athletics Cross Country Championships, so SWAC teams will compete on future world-class terrain.
The meet begins at 7:00 a.m. CST (8:00 a.m. ET) with the women’s 5 km championship race, followed at 11:00 a.m. CST (12:00 a.m. ET) by the men’s 8 km event. Live coverage will be available on the conference’s streaming platform, SWAC TV, while dedicated timing and result services will provide real-time scoring and splits.
