On Sunday, November 2, the 47th edition of the Türkiye İş Bankası Istanbul Marathon will unfold, returning once again to the city’s iconic landscape. The route begins on the Asian side by the 15 July Martyrs Bridge, crosses the Bosphorus and concludes in the historic Sultanahmet-Blue Mosque zone, offering runners a truly transcontinental experience. The race is scheduled to begin at 9:00am local time (GMT +3).
HOW TO WATCH - LIVE STREAM
The entire event will be streamed live for free worldwide on IBB Spor Istanbul YouTube channel. The live coverage is scheduled to begin at 8:45 AM local time.
Holding World Athletics Gold Label status, this year’s event features the full 42 km marathon, a 15.5 km race, and the popular Halk Koşusu (Public Run). Each draws its own uniquely spirited crowd, with the marathon reserved for those aged 18 and older who met qualifying time criteria.
