The AJ Bell Great North Run 2025 takes place on Sunday, 7 September, with more than 60,000 runners set to tackle the world’s largest half marathon from Newcastle to South Shields. Crowds of around 200,000 spectators are expected along the famous route, which features the iconic crossing of the Tyne Bridge before the seaside finish.
