The streets of the Swedish capital will come alive on Saturday, August 30, as more than 15,000 runners take part in the 2025 adidas Stockholm Half Marathon. The race, a World Athletics Label Road Race, begins at 15:30 CEST from Kungsträdgården, with waves of runners setting off every five minutes until 16:15.

The 2025 adidas Stockholm Half Marathon course offers one of Europe’s most scenic city runs, combining historic landmarks with lively urban streets.
Starting and finishing at Norrbro/Kungsträdgården in the heart of Stockholm, runners cross bridges and weave through the city’s islands, passing iconic sights such as the Royal Palace, Parliament House, the Swedish Opera, and stretches of the waterfront. The course is officially measured at 21.098 km and features a mix of broad boulevards and tighter turns through historic districts.
