The 2025 TD Beach to Beacon 10K Road Race is set to light up the coast of Maine on Saturday, August 2, bringing together over 6,500 runners, including some of the world’s fastest athletes and thousands of local competitors. The race, founded by Olympic champion Joan Benoit Samuelson, kicks off at 8:00 AM EDT from Route 77 near Crescent Beach and finishes at the iconic Portland Head Light in Fort Williams Park.
This year’s edition promises high-stakes action in the elite field. Ethiopia’s Addisu Yihune and U.S. star Conner Mantz headline the men’s race, following a thrilling 2024 season where both broke 28 minutes over 10K. On the women’s side, several top contenders are expected to challenge the course record, with strong representation from East Africa, the U.S., and top collegiate programs.
