Course Description – BOclassic Alto Adige

The BOclassic Alto Adige is contested on a compact, fast, multi-lap city circuit in the heart of Bolzano, designed to reward speed, tactical awareness and finishing strength.
The course is a 1.25 km loop laid out around Piazza Walther, running through the historic city center on fully closed roads.
Men’s elite race: 10 km (8 laps)
Women’s elite race: 5 km (4 laps)
The loop is entirely flat, with wide straights, gentle bends and no significant elevation changes, making it one of the fastest road courses in Europe for end-of-year racing. The repeated laps create a highly tactical race, with positioning, rhythm changes and final-lap acceleration often deciding the outcome.
Spectators line the streets throughout the circuit, generating an intense, stadium-like atmosphere, especially near the start and finish area in Piazza Walther. With cool winter temperatures and a compact layout that keeps the field constantly in view, the BOclassic course consistently delivers fast times, close racing and dramatic finishes.
