In the 39th edition of the Los Angeles Marathon, Kenyan athletes showcased their dominance by securing both the top two finishes in the men's category and the first place in the women's category, making it one of the most memorable races in the marathon's history, which featured its second-largest participant field ever with 26,000. Dominic Ngeno led the men's race, crossing the finish line in 2:11:00, while Stacy Ndiwa triumphed in the women's race with a time of 2:25:28, marking her second consecutive victory in this event.
