Digital TV platform for live running events
Posted by: DavidH1000 - 09-15-2018, 06:31 PM - Forum: General Posts - Replies (4)

Hi everyone

We're looking to develop a digital TV network for niche sports. Basically the objective is to offer a platform to sports that get ignored by popular TV channels, especially in smaller markets like some European countries.
Our team has an interest in endurance sports, e.g. triathlon, marathon running, open water swimming, ... which sparked the idea and will be our first target in terms of sports to cover.

I'm starting this thread to get your input on three things:

  1. What's your first reaction when you hear this idea?

  2. Do you recognize the problem of not being able some sports you'd like to follow? What issues do you have?

  3. Have you heard of examples of companies that do this in your country?
Really appreciate your input!
Thanks
David

  the wearing down of spikes
Posted by: 14mtaylor - 09-11-2018, 08:26 AM - Forum: General Posts - Replies (1)

I am currently investigating into creating a cover for track spikes so that I can create a product that will allow athletes to walk on concrete without damaging their spikes.

I have a survey that would greatly help with my research and if anyone has any opinions on my topic feel free to give your ideas.

Why sprinters have short career - unlike Usain Bolt?
Posted by: bestpost - 07-27-2018, 11:03 PM - Forum: General Posts - Replies (1)

I'm curious why World-class sprinters have a short career but Usain Bolt managed to dominate for 10 years?

3000m Steeple World Record 8:44.32 by Chepkoech, is she real?
Posted by: newguyhere - 07-20-2018, 06:49 PM - Forum: General Posts - Replies (5)

Beatrice Chepkoech solo runs 8:44.32 in the women's 3000m steeplechase World record. Six seconds fastest than the previous world record. Can we believe this new World record is clean knowing that old record of 8:52 by doper Ruth Jebet was done with EPO and also that first woman that the first sub 9 runner Gulnara Galkina also failed for doping.
