• 2018 Rotterdam Marathon Winner Kipkemoi Suspended for Doping

The 2018 Rotterdam marathon winner Kenneth Kiprop Kipkemoi of Kenya has been suspended from athletics after he tested positive for doping.

The 35-year-old Kipkemoi tested positive for a banned substance Terbutaline Terbutaline is a bronchodilator (beta-2 receptor agonist) that works by opening breathing passages to make breathing easier.

In Kipkemoi set his marathon PB of 2:05:44 in Rotterdam. In the same year, he took 4th place at the Chicago marathon.

Kipkemoi is the latest Kenyan elite athlete of many suspended for doping.
