• Women’s 100m Hurdles abandoned at Jamaican champs after controversy

There was lots of drama in the women’s 100m hurdles final as Danielle Williams false started.  

The race was delayed by the lengthy protests of 2015 IAAF World Champion Danielle Williams, who was judged by officials to have false-started. 

Finally, meet organizers decided to abort the event.

Williams had won her heat earlier in the day in 12.81 but Janeek Brown was the fastest overall with her 12.68 clockings in heat one.
