• Jamaica National Championships 100m Qualification Round News

Women's 100m qualification: 17-Year-Old Brianna Williams comfortably clocked the 2nd fastest time by winning the heat 3 in 11.20 seconds.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce led the qualification by winning heat 1 in 11.08.

Elaine Thompson took heat 2 in 11.31 seconds, the 4th fastest in the Qualifying rounds.  

Men's 100m Qualification: 2011 World champion Yohan Blake, after he won the opening heat of four in 10.19 seconds. 

In heat  2, Waseem Williams and Rasheed Dwyer both crossed the line in 10.17 seconds to qualify joint fastest heading into the semis.

Defending national champion Tyquendo Tracey took heat 3 in 10.26.

 Rasheed Dwyer won heat four ahead Andre Ewers (10.25) and Nesta Carter (10.33).
