• Katarina Johnson-Thompson Wins Heptathlon in Gotzis With a New PB of 6813 Points

Great Britain's Katarina Johnson-Thompson won the heptathlon at the Gotzis Hypo-Meeting (IAAF World Challenge) with a PB and world-leading 6,813 points. The 26-year-old increased her lead from last night by winning the long jump with 6.68m and clocking 2:08.28 in the 800m to finish ahead of Latvian Laura Ikarniece (6,476) and Xeria Krizsan of Hungary (6,469). Johnson-Thompson  6,813 points moved her to 13th on the world all-time list and is enough points to win 4 of the last 6 Olympics. Her previous pb was 6759 from last year's Euro Champs.
