The World 100m champion Christian Coleman (USA) will challenge his two-year ban at the court of arbitration for sport (CAS) in Lausanne (Switzerland).
This was announced by his lawyer Emanuel K. Hudson on Wednesday. "Mr. Coleman will not say anything until his case is heard in the Sports Court, ” he said on Twitter.
The World Athletics Integrity (AIU) banned Christian Coleman for missing three doping tests in one year until May 13, 2022. If the penalty is confirmed by the CAS, the 24-year-old will not be able to compete in the Tokyo Olympic Games next year.
