• Athletics Integrity Unit Bans 2:10 Kenyan Marathoner for Failing Drugs Test

Kenya’s long distance runner, Japhet Kipchirchir Kipkorir has been handed a four-year ban for violation of World Athletics (WA) anti-doping rules.

WA's Athletes Integrity Unit (AIU) announced on Friday that it had found Kipkorir guilty of having tested positive to prohibited substance Norandrosterone.

Kipkorir set his personal best in the marathon of  2:10:50 at 2011 Gold Coast Marathon where he took 3rd place.
