Powell to lead strong 100m field in Zagreb WCH

Former 100m world record holder and Rio Olympics 4x100m champion Asafa Powell of Jamaica will lead a star studded men's 100m field at the World Challenge meet in Zagreb on Tuesday, September 6. 

The 33-year-old Jamaica's latest accomplishment  was earlier  this week at the Diamond League meet in Zurich when he won the 100m with a time of 9.96 and the Diamond League trophy. 

Powell won the Zagreb meeting last  year with a time of 9.96 seconds. On Tuesday in Zagreb Powell will face a very stiff top competition from 6 athletes that have posted sub 10 second 100m this year.  

The meet record of 9.85 seconds belongs to track and field legend Usain Bolt.
