Germany's Sosthene Moguenara leaps 7.16m new world lead in Long Jump

In a high quality women's long jump contest, German's Sosthene Moguenara set a new Word lead of 7.18m on May 28 at B&S Kurpfalz Gala in Winheim.

The 2015 European Indoor silver medalist Moguenara in 5th round jumped 7.16m to set a new personal best and new world lead. 

The 26-year-old long jumper had another 7+ leap when she in round 4 jumped 7.01m to take the lead from Alexandra Wester (GER) who had jumped wind assisted 7.00m in round 2. 

Wester finished the meet in second with 7.00m with Melanie Bauschke (GER) in third with mark of 6.90m (W +2.8m).
