Ayanleh Souleiman (DJI) broke the 1000m indoor world record on Wednesday, February 17 at the 2016 Globn Gala meet in Stockholm, Sweden.
The 24-year-old Souleiman ran 2:14:20 to brake the previous world record of 2:14:96 set by Denmark's Wilson Kipketer in 2000.
