Video: Runner frightens crowd as he almost collapses during marathon relay in Japan

 Running the 7th leg at Japans largest 2-day marathon relay - The Hakone Ekiden on Sunday, the 18-year-old Japanese runner Yuya Tanaka almost collapsed. 

Coming to the finish line Yuya Tanaka frightened everyone as he started to show signs of problems of his heart and then  wobbling fell to the ground. He then stood up to his feet and managed to finish his leg.

In the 2-day marathon relay contest Tanaka's team  Jobu University placed in 21 place.

The winning team of the 10-stage 217.1km marathon relay  was Aoyama Gakuin University who posted a time of 10H 53min and 25sec.
