Simpson takes Pan American 100m gold
Jamaican sprinter Sherone Simpson was the winner took the women's 100m final at Pan American Games in Toronto on Tuesday, July 22.

Beijing Olympics silver medalist Simpson clocked a very fast 10.95 seconds beating Ecuador's Angela Tenorio who surprised everyone by taking silver in a new PB time of 10.99 seconds. American sprinter Barbara Pierre took bronze with a time of 11.01 seconds.
