Ethiopia's Lelisa Desisa and Kenya's Caroline Rotich were crowned champions at world oldest marathon, the 119th Boston Marathon, on Monday, April 20.
The 25-year old Desisa, who also won 2013 Boston marathon, crossed the line after 2:09:17 ahead of compatriot Yemane Adhane Tsegay 2:09:48. The men's podium concluded Kenya's Wilson Chebet, who crossed the finsih line after 2:10:22.
Top American runner was Dathan Ritzenhein, who took 7th place in 2:11:20 ahead of last year's winner Meb Keflezighi, who finished after 2:12:42.

Caroline Rotitch made her move and pulled away from Ethiopia's Mare Dibaba in the last 400m to win 2015 Boston Marathon women's race in 2:24:55. The runner up Dibaba clocked 2:24:59, while Buzunesh Debe (ETH) posted 2:25:09 for third.
The top American Shalane Flanagan came in 9th place in 2:27:47.
