• Shawn Barber Sets World Lead in Pole Vault at Texas Relays

University of Akron pole vaulter, Shawn Barber, impressed at 2015 Texas Relays with his  5.90m performance.

Barber won the men's pole vault competition with a world-leading outdoor mark in 2015 - en route set a new school, meet and Canadian National record clearing 5.90m to win the Invitational pole vault. He also equaled the meet record.
