Jessica Ennis-Hill Plans to Compete at Next Summer's IAAF World Championships in Beijing

Great Britain's track and field super star Jessica Ennis - Hill revealed that she has hopes to compete at next years World Championships in Beijing as she keeps preparing to defend her heptathlon Olympic title in Rio 2016 Olympics.


The 28 year old Jessica Ennis Hill is 100% back in training with aim to regain her top form for the Beijing world championships that will take place next summer.

The Olympic heptathlon champion ruled out of the 2014 season after she revealed in January she was pregnant with her first child.

"It's amazing being a mum," she told Sky Sports News on Friday. "I'm loving every minute of it an it's great now I can get back on the track. It's definitely a busy time ahead, with lots to juggle.

"At the moment it's just about taking small steps but I'm hoping to compete again next summer. The World Championships in Beijing is a realistic aim and would be great.

"But the main aim is the Rio Olympics, that's where I want to be back at the top of my game."
