The 2007 and 2009 world high jump champion, Blanka Vlasic of Croatia, confirmed on Monday that she will compete in Gothenburg, Sweden next Saturday.
The 30 year old, Vlasic spend more than 7 months off competitions and serious training due to an ankle injury, the same injury that ruled her out off London Olympics in 2012, but finally she announced that she is injury free and feels "very well."
After the competition in Sweden the Croatian is planning to compete at the Prague Indoor meeting on February 25. From there, if everything goes well Vlasic is going to Sopot, Poland on March 7-9 to compete at the World Indoor Championships.
"With those indoor competitions we want to break the monotony of training," added Vlasic.
