Lavillenie Brilliant: Clears 6.08m

The Olympic pole vault champion Renaud Lavillenie of France made his name shine again as he set another personal record and a new French record of 6.08m at Pedros Cup on Friday (31).

Everybody else were done vaulting when the Frenchman started the competition with 5.80m which he cleared with 2nd attempt. Lavillenie then cleared with first attempt 5.92m then 6.00m and finally 6.08mmaking the stadium roar in ovations.

The Frenchmen then asked a new world record height of 5.16m,m but it wasn't Lavillenies time yet. 

Lavillenie put himself in the #2 position in the men's pole vault position behind great Sergey Bubka of Ukraine.
