Fraser-Pryce To Compete at World Indoors

 Jamaica´s World and Olympic 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce,opened her 2014 season with an outdoor 60m on Saturday in Kimgston, with an aim to compete at the world indoor championships in March 7-9, in Sopot, Poland.

Fraser-Pryce won she won the 60m dash in a time of 7.11 seconds with Carrie Russell in second in 7.28sec.

"I am happy to know I was able to create history by running the first (outdoor) official 60m," said Fraser-Pryce to AP.

 If she competes in Sopot it will be her first World Indoor Championships where she would try to win the 60m dash.

"I am excited and looking forward to the remainder of the season, especially going to my first world indoors," she said.

Also in the the men's 60m dash the World Indoor Championships 60m silver medallist, Nesta Carter, clocked fast 6.52 seconds to win the event.
