Deressa Chimsa and Flomina Cheyech take Toronto waterfall Marathon Crowns
Ethiopia's Deressa Chimsa and Kenya's Flomina Cheyech won Canadas Largest road running event the Toronto Waterfall marathon on Sunday (20).
The men's race winner Chimsa set the fastest time ever run on the Canadian soil 2:07:05. The second place took Kenyas Solomon Kiptoo finishing almost 2 minutes behind the winner 2:09:03, while Habtamu Assefa of Ethiopia concluded the podium running 2:10:38.

The 31 year old Kenyan Flomina Cheyech clocked a very solid 2:25:13 to win the women's marathon. Ethiopia Sechale Adugnaof finished in second 2:26:43 while Canada's Lanni Marchantwho finished in third seting a new national record of 2:28:00.
