• Simpson and Willis Take 5th Avenue Titles

Moscow World Championships Silver medalist Jenny Simpson (USA) and New Zealands Nick Willis were the winners of the 2013 5th Avenue Mile on Sunday (22).

Simpson clocked a massive PR to win the race in 4:19.3 with Morgan Uceny (USA) in second in 4:23.4. Netherlands Susan Kuyken finished in 3rd with a time of 4:24.2

The men's race winner, Willis, clocked 3:52.1 to win his second 5th avenue mile title leaving the 2011 winner Bernard Lagat in second 3:52.9. Garteth Heath (USA) took third clocking 3:53.0
