The World 2011 Bronze medallis in 100m Kelly-Ann Baptist of Trinidad and Tobago has tested positive for a banned substance says, the Trinidad Express news.
The third fastest women this year, Baptist, was set to run on Sunday 100m heats, but now has voluntarily withdrawn from World Championships and returned home.
"She has voluntarily withdrawn from the competition and is heading back to her base," said T&B team manager Dexter Voisin.
manager Voisin himself did not confirm if Baptiste's tested positive, but the media says that the reliable source confirmed this matter.
Later team manager, Voisin, also confirmed that another Trinidad & Tobago female sprinter, Semoy Hackett, as well has left World Championships and returned home.
"They both left this morning," said Voisin.
