London Olympic champion Sally Pearson of Australia will compete in her first 100 metres hurdle race since winning the gold at the last year's London Olympic Games when she races in Ostrava Golden Spike in the Czech Republic next week.
Folloeing the meet in Ostrava next Thursday, June 27, Pearson will participate at the IAAF Diamond League in Birmingham on June 30.
In January Pearson suffered a grade-one hamstring tear while training in Australia, on April she suffered from the same injury while running a 4x100m relay at the Asian Grand Prix Athletic Championship in Sri Lanka
The 26 year old Queenslander is preaparing to defend her world championship title in Moscow in August.
