Promising Victory for Pitkamaki in Dessau (85.39m)

The 2013 world season leader Tero Pitkamak, picked up another victory on June 1 at the Dessau internation meeting. Pitkamaki in the sixth round managed 85.39 meters. Also, impressive were Pitkamaki's all 6 attempts, in which he managed to throw no less than 81 meters. He started of the serie with 81.94m then he continued 82.50, 84.12, 84.58, 83.24, and finally 85.39m.

Also, in the competition the 2 time Olympic champion Andreas Thorkildsen finished in fourth with a season best mark of 81.99m.
