Mutaz Steals the Show in Eugene - 2.40m

21 year old Qatar’s Mutaz Essa Barshim, earned the Maria Mutola Award as the Eugene Diamond League  meet’s top performer with a clearance of 2.40m, the best mark ever recorded on  U.S. soil.

Barshim, who won the bronze medal at the London Olympics last summer, became only the eighth high jumper in history to get over 2.40 meters.
