World record holder Armand Duplantis returns to competition this Sunday at the All Star Perche in Clermont-Ferrand, held at the Maison des Sports. The Swede, who set world records at this venue in 2023 and 2025, will be aiming for a fifth title after previous victories in 2020, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Making his first appearance since the Tokyo World Championships, Duplantis headlines a stacked men’s field assembled by meeting founder Renaud Lavillenie. Greece’s Emmanouil Karalis, consistently over six metres this season, along with Americans KC Lightfoot and Sam Kendricks, are all capable of pushing the bar to world-class heights. French vaulters Baptiste Thiery and Ethan Cormont will also look to capitalize on the elite setting as they chase personal bests.
In the women’s competition, Switzerland’s Angelica Moser leads a high-quality field that includes Slovenia’s Tina Šutej and Czech contender Amálie Švábíková. French record holder Marie-Julie Bonnin enters in strong domestic form and will aim to challenge for victory on one of indoor pole vault’s most iconic stages.
