The ‘Road to’ qualification tracking tool has officially gone live for the World Athletics Indoor Championships Kujawy Pomorze 26.

Approved at the World Athletics Council Meeting in Tokyo, the qualification system follows a two-route qualification system:
- 50% of athletes qualify by achieving the entry standards
- 50% qualify via world top lists
All qualifying performances must be recorded within the official qualification window, running from 1 November 2025 to 8 March 2026.
The ‘Road to Kujawy Pomorze 26’ online tool has been created to help athletes, media, and fans follow the qualification race for next year’s World Indoor Championships, set to take place at Arena Toruń from Friday 20 March to Sunday 22 March 2026.
Searchable by discipline, country, and qualification status, the tool offers a real-time overview of each event throughout the entire qualification period.
The combined events field will be compiled based on pre-entries submitted by Member Federations, alongside qualification via world rankings. Once expressions of interest are confirmed, the women’s pentathlon and men’s heptathlon will be added to the tool in early January.
It is important to note that the tool does not indicate final selections made by national federations. Official entries will be published closer to the start of the championships.
