World Athletics Indoor Championships Nanjing 2025 Final Entry Lists Released

World Athletics has released the final entry lists for the World Athletics Indoor Championships Nanjing 2025, scheduled for 21-23 March. The event will feature 576 athletes from 127 countries, including 11 individual defending champions and 20 medallists from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Among those returning to defend their titles from Glasgow are world record-holders Mondo Duplantis (pole vault), Devynne Charlton (60m hurdles), and Grant Holloway (60m hurdles). Joining them are Molly Caudery (pole vault), Tsige Duguma (800m), Hamish Kerr (high jump), Thea Lafond (triple jump), Sarah Mitton (shot put), Nicola Olyslagers (high jump), Miltiadis Tentoglou (long jump), and Hugues Fabrice Zango (triple jump).

Olympic champions from Paris also competing in Nanjing include Duplantis, Holloway, Kerr, Lafond, Tentoglou, Yaroslava Mahuchikh (high jump), and Jakob Ingebrigtsen (1500m and 3000m).

Host nation's stars Gong Lijiao, an Olympic and double world shot put champion, and Zhu Yaming, a two-time global triple jump medallist, are set to highlight the competition for local fans.
