Mahuchikh, renowned for her remarkable achievements in the sport, including her World and Olympic titles and her Ukrainian national record and personal best of 2.05 m outdoors and a phenomenal indoor best of 2.06 m, showcased a flawless performance in Cottbus.
Commencing her series with an impressive first-time clearance at 1.90 m, Mahuchikh continued to dominate the event by effortlessly clearing 1.94 m and 1.98 m, displaying the same form that won her gold medals at various prestigious championships. Her remarkable journey in the high jump saw her surpassing the 2.01 m height, a testament to her unparalleled skill and technique.
The pinnacle of her performance came when she took on the 2.04 m mark. After a nail-biting first attempt, Mahuchikh successfully cleared this height on her second attempt, setting a World leading mark.
