USATF Team for the World Athletics Championships in Budapest Announced

Ten world champions from last year's event in Oregon will be making their way to Budapest to represent the US team at the World Athletics Championships. This prestigious event is scheduled to take place from August 19th to August 27th in the capital city of Hungary.

The World Athletics Championships Budapest 2023 promises to be a thrilling event, with athletes from all over the globe showcasing their abilities and pushing the boundaries of human potential.

Among the esteemed group of athletes returning to defend their titles are Valarie Allman, Brooke Andersen, Ryan Crouser, Chase Ealey, Grant Holloway, Fred Kerley, Noah Lyles, Katie Moon, Athing Mu, and Michael Norman. These athletes, who had emerged victorious in their respective events in Oregon, will now be vying for glory once again as part of the 139-strong US squad.
