Kenya's Ferdinand Omanyala took the Commonweath Games men's 100m gold clocking 10.02 seconds into -0.9m/s strog headwind on Wednesday. Akani Simbine of South Africa took silver with 10.13 while the Srilanka's Yupun Abeykon was third with 10.14 seconds.
Omanyala won Kenya's first Commonwealth Games men's 100M gold medal since 1962.
