Jamaica's Shericka Jackson stormed to a 200m victory at the 2022 World Athletics Championships on Thursday evening in Eugene, Oregon.
The 28-year-old Jamaican, who won the 400m bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, set a new championships record and the second-fastest time in history, winning 200m gold in a sensational 21.45. Shell-Ann Fraser-Pryce took silver with a new season's best time of 21.81, while bronze went to the defending 200m World champion Great Britain's Dina Asher-Smith (22.02).
