Team USA for the World Athletics Championships 2022 Eugene Announced

The United States track and field governing body (USATF) has announced a powerful 151-athlete team for the 2022 World Athletics Championships, which will take place in Eugene, Oregon.

Many World and Olympic champions, including Sydney McLaughlin, Ryan Crouser, Joe Kovacs Athing Mu, Dalilah Muhammad, Valarie Allman, Grant Holloway, Donavan Brazier, and Noah Lyles will line up at Euegne's Hayward field from 15-24 July.

Allyson Felix, one of the most decorated track athletes in history, will be in the mixed 4x400m relay. It will be the 10th World Championships appearance for the 36-year-old sprint superstar.

"I couldn't be prouder to lead this amazing team for this once-in-a-lifetime event. We have been given the unique opportunity to impact the track and field landscape in the U.S., and we've put our best team forward,"  USATF CEO Max Siegel said

"An incredible slate of Journey to Gold events and our recent Toyota Outdoor Championships will all culminate at Oregon22 and every athlete on this roster has proved they are willing and able to help lead this team to an amazing performance in front of a home crowd and celebrate this tremendous occasion."
