The elite entry lists of the oldest road race in the Czech Republic, the Sportisimo Prague Half Marathon, is loaded with great names featuring global stars.
Kenya's Philemon Kiplimo, the 8th fastest half marathon runner in history with 58:11, will lead a deep men's elite field on Saturday, April 2.
Nine runners that will line up on Saturday in Prague hold personal best times below 60 minutes, while four of those men have run the half faster than 59 minutes.

Women's elite field:
The women's elite field is also impressive, with six women holding personal best times inside the 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Kenyans Irine Cheptai and Nelly Jepchumba, especially Brenda Jepleting, are expected to fight for victory.
Jepleting is the fastest woman in the field with 1:05:44. Irene Cheptai holds a PB of 1:06:43, while Nelly Jepchumba has a lifetime best of 1:07:46. Other women with sub 1h10min personal best times are Ftaw Zeray Bezabh (1:08:30), Nesphine Jepleting (1:09:25), and Sheila Jebiwot (1:09:48).
The Sportisimo Prague Half Marathon, which starts at 10:00 am local time on Saturday, April 2, will send a strong message of supporting peace in Ukraine.
Among different activities, the organizers plan to hand out symbolic bracelets in Ukrainian national colors before the start.
