Renaud Lavillenie Clears 6.06m at All Star Perche

Renaud Lavillenie cleared 6.06m at the All Star Perche indoor pole vault only meet in Clermont Ferrand, France on Saturday, February 27.

The for former world record holder, Lavillenie, cleared 6.06m, the highest vault since 2014. Lavillenie also attempted a new World record of 6.20m but failed to clear in his all three attempts. Lavilleine's 6.06m season best mark is the second-best in the world this year. 

Dutchman Menno Vloon took surprise second place with a new national record to 5.96m.

The 34-year-old Frenchman will compete next at the European Indoor Championships in Torun, Poland scheduled for March 4-7.

The women's pole vault competition won Great Britain's Holly Bradshaw with 4.78m.
