18-year-old Larissa Lapichino set a new world U20 long jump indoor record with a huge leap of 6.91m (22-8ft) at the Italian Indoor championships on Saturday (20). She broke the previous record held by Germany's Heike Drechsler from 1983 and equaled the senior Italian indoor record set by her mother, Fiona.
